In a move that screams "why the hell not?", we shipped Lungi Slabb off to Surf Abu Dhabi with Stab. The mission? A bite-sized dose of the Electric Acid Surfboard Test, this time in a setting so futuristic it feels like a sci-fi fever dream.
Armed with three boards—veterans of past Electric Acid experiments. Lungi rolled in, ready to see how they’d handle the mechanical precision of a wave pool. These weren’t your average foam and fiberglass sticks; they were the weird, the wonderful, and the occasionally unpredictable relics of previous tests.
Surf Abu Dhabi’s pristine, programmable peaks gave us the perfect petri dish to see how these boards stacked up. Would they sing? Would they stumble? Would Lungi make them look like magic no matter what? (Spoiler: probably.)
